Face cards are the ace, two, three, four, five, and six of spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs. These cards are worth 1 point each in blackjack. When two face cards are together, they are called a “natural” or “pair” and they are worth 2 points. When a face card is followed by another face card of the same suit, that card is called a “flush” and it is worth 3 points.
When any other combination of cards forms a natural or flush, that combination is also worth 3 points. Face cards can also be combined with any other type of card to create different types of hands.
