When it comes to poker, there are a lot of different hands that can be formed. However, all of these hands are typically categorized into one of five types: open, flush, full house, three of a kind, and two pair.
The most basic poker hand is the open hand. This consists of just one card – the Ace.
All other cards are face down in the player’s hand.
Flush hands are similar to open hands, except that all five cards in a flush are face up. A full house is made up of three cards of the same rank and two cards of another rank.
Three of a kind is when a player has three cards of the same type and two cards of another type. Two pair is when a player has two cards of the same rank and one card of another rank.
