What Are the Blackjack Card Values?

Blackjack is a card game that is played with a deck of 52 cards. The object of the game is to score as many points as possible by playing cards until you reach 21, then betting any number of chips that you have available.

The rank of the card determines its value. The Ace is worth one point, 2 through 10 are worth face value, and a Jack, Queen or King (J,Q,K) are each worth 10 points.

All other values are neutral.

The Ace can be played as either high or low; when it’s high, it counts as 1 point and when it’s low, it counts as 0. The two most common types of blackjack are standard and wildcard; in standard blackjack, both the Ace and 2 through 10 count as 1 point, while in wildcard blackjack both the Ace and Jack count as 10 points.
