The numbers in a Roulette wheel are called “pennies” or “crowns.” There are 36 of them, numbered from 1 to 36.
The numbers are placed around the wheel so that they can be seen by the player.
The player who bets on a number will place a chip on the table next to that number. The dealer then spins the wheel and drops a ball into the slot that corresponds to the number on the chip.
If the ball lands on that number, the player gets to keep whatever money was bet on that number, plus any bonus money. If the ball lands on any other number, the player loses whatever money was bet on that number.
