The odds of a house winning with this hand are 2-to-1. This means that for every two times the dealer wins, the house will also win.
If the player has a hand that totals 21, then the house has an overall advantage of 4-to-1. This is because on average, it will win every time it plays this hand.
However, if the player does not have a 21-hand, then the dealer’s hand becomes much more important. In this case, the house has an advantage of only 1-to-2 because for every two times the dealer wins with this hand, the house will lose one time.
This means that on average, it will only win once out of every three times it plays this hand.
So in general, if the player has a weaker hand than the dealer (i.e., a hand that totals less than 21), then he or she has an advantage in blackjack.
However, if the player has a stronger hand (i.e., a hand that totals more than 21), then he or she may have difficulty defeating the house even with good play.
