Aces count as one, two through ten as their respective face values. A hand with an Ace and a two or three is called a blackjack, while a hand with any other combination is considered a draw.
The house edge for blackjack is about 1.5 percent, meaning that for every 100 hands played, the house will earn about 15 extra bucks. However, there are some things you can do to increase your chances of winning. For one, try to stick to low- decks and avoid playing with too many high- cards.
Additionally, play strategy by trying to guess the dealer’s up card (usually an Ace or a two). Finally, always check your hand before playing it out – if you have a good blackjack, don’t risk losing it by giving away too much information.
