In poker, there are five cards that are dealt face down in a deck. The player to the dealer’s left begins the round, and the player to the right of the dealer starts the next round.
The goal is to make as many combinations of five cards as possible, and then discard one card.
There are several different ways to win in 5 card poker. The most common way is to make four of a kind, which is when you get four cards of the same rank.
Two pairs is also a common way to win, where you get two pairs of cards of the same rank. Finally, three of a kind is also a common way to win, where you get three cards of the same rank.
If you can’t make any combination of five cards, then you must either discard one card or put all five cards back on the table. If another player matches your combination, then you both win whatever money was bet on that hand.
If no one can match your combination, then you lose whatever money was bet on that hand.
