What Are the Rules for Omaha Poker?

Omaha poker is a variation of poker that is played with two decks of cards – 52 cards and four Jokers. The object of the game is to make as many hands as possible without going out. There are three types of hands in Omaha: a straight, a flush, and a full house. A straight is five cards of the same rank, such as 3,2,J,Q,K.

A flush is four cards of the same rank, such as K,J,10,9. A full house is three cards of the same rank plus two cards of another rank, such as J♠,10♣,7♠. The best hand in Omaha is four of a kind (four cards of the same rank), which consists of one pair and three Kings or Queens. The worst hand is two pair (two cards of the same rank plus one card of another rank), which consists of an Ace and two 2s or 3s.
