Roulette is a game of chance where a player bets on the number that will be shown on a spinning wheel. The game has a variety of rules that vary depending on the jurisdiction in which it is played, but the basic rules are always the same.

If you bet on a number that’s shown in one of the pockets, your bet is automatically placed and you can start playing. The roulette dealer will then place the ball in one of the other pockets and start spinning the wheel.
As long as you stay within your betting limit and don’t lose any money, you can keep playing until you either win or lose all your money. If you’re lucky enough to hit one of your favorite numbers, you’ll win your bet and get back all your money plus whatever profit the casino has made from selling tickets for that particular number.
