Video blackjack is a type of casino game that is played with a video monitor in front of the player instead of a physical deck of cards. The object of the game is to hit cards against the dealer until the player has 21 points.
The dealer, in contrast, must hit cards until he has either 21 points or count cards (10, Jack, Queen or King).
There are several variations of video blackjack, including Double Exposure, which features two decks of cards – one displayed on the player’s monitor and one displayed on the dealer’s monitor. Two-card video blackjack offers a limited number of hands per hour and is played with only one deck of cards.
Three-card video blackjack offers more hands per hour but uses two decks of cards.
In general, video blackjack is a popular game because it is generally faster than traditional blackjack and offers more opportunities to win. However, there are also some risks associated with playing video blackjack, including the possibility that the player will get caught in a lose-lose situation where he cannot make any more bets.
