What Color Is Blackjack?

Blackjack is generally a card game of 21, in which players attempt to beat the dealer by counting cards and using strategy. Blackjack is most popular in North America, where it is often played for money (in casinos and other venues) or for entertainment purposes.

The most common blackjack hand is the “Jack-Ten-Nine” (J-T-N), in which the player has a Jack, Ten, and Nine cards. Aces are preferably high (face value of one or more), while two through six are low (face value of zero through five).

The game can be won by counting cards and making better than the dealer’s hand (called “blackjacking”), or by avoiding drawing cards and hoping to get a better hand than the dealer. In either case, the player collects the amount wagered plus any additional amounts assigned as bonuses for certain hands such as a blackjack with an Ace high up card.
