Blackjack is a casino game that is played with a deck of 52 cards. The object of the game is to score as close to 21 as possible without going over. The player begins by selecting two cards from the deck and placing them face down in front of them. The player then selects another card from the deck and places it face up on the table beside the first two cards.
The player then totals the value of the first two cards and compares it to the total value of the new card. If the new card is greater than or equal to the total value of the first two cards, then the player can either keep the new card or replace it with one of the original two cards. If the new card is less than or equal to the total value of the first two cards, then the player must either put all three cards back in the deck and draw a new one, or stand (lose) whatever amount was bet on that particular hand.
