What Do You Start With in Blackjack?

Blackjack, or 21 as it is known in many circles, is a casino game that is relatively simple to understand but can be incredibly complex to master. Although the basic rules of the game are fairly simple, the strategies that can be employed to improve one’s chances of winning are numerous and varied.

When playing blackjack, it is important to keep in mind that the game is played with a hand of cards. Each player is dealt two cards face down, and then must decide whether or not to hit or stand. If a player chooses to hit, they must place their bet (in cash or chips) and then draw one additional card.

If the player decides to stand, they must draw two more cards and then place their bet. The goal of the game is to reduce the number of cards in your hand to zero, thereby winning the hand.

There are a few things that you should always keep in mind when playing blackjack:

1) Always play conservatively – Don’t over-commit yourself financially in order to increase your chances of winning. If you are unsure about whether or not you should hit or stand, it is generally better to stay put.

2) Don’t let your emotions get the best of you – Although it can be exciting to see your opponent busting out after hitting a few lucky hands, it’s important not to let your emotions get the best of you. Playing too aggressively can lead to poor decision making and ultimately loss on your part.

3) Keep track of your odds – One of the most important things that you can do when playing blackjack is keep track of how often you are hitting versus how often you are standing. This will allow you to make informed decisions about how much money to bet on each hand.
