What Does a Joker Mean in Blackjack?

A Joker in blackjack is a card that is worth ten points. When a player is dealt a Joker, it is traditional to put it in the “joker” spot, next to the Ace of Spades. The player then takes the point value of the card (in this case, 10 points) and subtracts it from their original bet.

If the result is negative (i.e., if the player’s original bet was less than 10 points), then they are rewarded with another card.
