Russian roulette is a gambling game in which a player spins a cylinder filled with six bullets. The player knows which bullet is in the cylinder, but does not know which bullet will be fired. If the player pulls the trigger on the gun and it shoots one of the bullets out of the cylinder, that bullet will be used in the game. If the player pulls the trigger and nothing happens, that bullet has been “canceled” and will not be used in the game.
If the player pulls the trigger and one of the bullets from the cylinder is fired, that bullet will be used in the game. The chances of any one bullet being used are 1 in 6. In addition, if any of the other bullets from the cylinder are also fired, those bullets will also count as shots for purposes of winning or losing.
