What Each Card Means in Blackjack?

The cards in blackjack are used to determine the balance of the hand. Aces are worth one point, 2s through 10s are worth face value, and a blackjack is worth ten points. When two cards of the same rank are combined, they are said to be “busted.” If a player has a blackjack, they are said to be “up,” and any other combination of cards results in a loss.

The dealer can continue to draw cards until they either bust or the player has no more cards. In some variations, when a player gets two blackjack, they automatically win the hand.
