What Happen to Poker Night 2?

Poker Night 2 was released in late 2009 as a sequel to the popular Poker Night. The game is a five-player card game that features characters and locations from the popular “Call of Duty” video game franchise.

After release, the game received mixed reviews, with many critics citing its poor pacing and uninspired design as major issues. Ultimately, the game failed to achieve the level of success that its predecessor had.

As of 2019, Poker Night 2 has sold just over one million copies.

In March 2019, it was announced that Poker Night 2 would be discontinued and replaced by a new title in the franchise, “Poker Night 3”. The announcement came after years of declining sales and developer issues that have prevented the game from being updated or improved.

Many players attributed these problems to poor design choices made by original developers Betsoft.
