When you get 777 in blackjack, the hand is automatically considered a “win” and the dealer pays you off accordingly. However, there are some specific rules that apply when playing with a 777 hand.
If you are playing with another person, they must either give you a hand of 21 or more to win the hand, or they must stand (put all their chips in the pot). If you are playing against the machine, it will automatically give you a hand of 21 or more and then automatically stand.
If you are playing at a casino that allows “splitting,” then you can choose to receive half of the payout for a 777 hand, or you can choose to receive the full payout. If you opt to receive half of the payout, then the casino would give you 36 chips (three sixteenths of a dollar) for a total payout of $6.67.
If you opt to receive the full payout, then the casino would give you 96 chips (one dollar and seventy-six cents) for a total payout of $13.33.
