When a bettor places a bet with Bovada, they are given the option to receive a bonus. This bonus is in the form of extra betting credits that can be used to place additional bets.
The bonus usually lasts for a certain amount of time, usually one week. After that time has passed, the bonus expires and the betting credits are gone.
This is where things can get tricky for bettors. If they don’t use their bonus betting credits within seven days, they will have to forfeit them.
If they use them but then lose the bet, they will still have to forfeit the bonus betting credits, even if it was only a small amount. If they win the bet, however, their bonus betting credits are still theirs to keep.
So what happens when the bonus expires? Unless someone explicitly says otherwise in their terms and conditions, Bovada assumes that the bonus has expired and any remaining betting credits are automatically forfeited. This means that even if someone wins a small amount of money from their bonus after it expires, they still have to give it all back because Bovada considers it all lost money.
