What Is a Full Poker Table?

A full poker table is a rectangular surface with 52 spots for players to sit. The table’s surface is divided into four nearly equal parts, with 16 squares on each long side.

The squares are numbered 1 through 8, starting from the player’s left. A poker deck of 52 cards is also placed on the table, with Ace of Spades facing up.

To play poker, each player places their bet in front of them, next to their hand. The dealer then flips over the top card of the deck and sets it in front of the player to their left. That player then flips over their top card and looks at it. If the two cards match, they keep that card and replace it with another from their hand.

If they don’t match, they put that card back in their hand and take another from their deck. The process is repeated until everyone has had a turn playing this way. .

The goal of poker is to make as many hands as possible where you have an Ace of Spades (or better). When this happens, you can claim the pot by putting all your other cards away and showing your Ace of Spades.
