What Is a One Eyed Jack in Poker?

In poker, a one-eyed jack is a hand with two pairs, or better. In other words, the hand consists of two cards of the same rank, plus an Ace. The Ace can be either the high card (the card with the highest ranking), or the low card (the card with the Lowest ranking).

When two players share an Ace, it is called a “two-pair.” If one player has a one-eyed jack and the other doesn’t, it’s often considered good luck for that player.
