In short, Bahama Bonus Blackjack is a variant of blackjack that uses bonus rounds. In a standard blackjack game, the player is dealt two cards face down, and then must make a hand of 21. If the player has an Ace and a Two or a Three through Five, they are said to be “stacked”. In addition to the standard rules of blackjack, in a bonus round of Bahama Bonus Blackjack, the player is also dealt a fourth card face down. This card determines the player’s bonus score for the hand.
If the player has a card that matches one of the bonuses displayed on the table, they are awarded that bonus score. For example, if the table has a Bonus for Sixes (a Six counts as 2 points), and the player is dealt a Six, their bonus score for that hand is 12 points. If they are not awarded any bonuses for matching cards, their bonus score for that hand is 6 points. The goal of the game is to achieve a total bonus score greater than 21.
