Frozen Blackjack is a variation of Blackjack that is played with a deck of 52 cards. The dealer deals two cards to each player, then replaces the original two cards with another two cards.
The player then may either keep the original two cards or replace them with new cards. The player may only replace one card at a time.
If the player replaces the first card with a higher value than the second card, that card is considered to be “frozen.” If the player replaces the second card with a higher value than the first card, that card is considered to be “frozen.
” A frozen card cannot be replaced and has double value. For example, if a player has an 8 and an Ace, when they replace their 2 with new cards, their Ace will become a 10 and their 8 will remain at its original value of 1.
If at any point during the game a player has three frozen cards (Ace, King, and Queen), that player automatically loses the game.
