What Is Match Dealer Blackjack?

Match dealer blackjack is a variation of blackjack that is played with a deck of 52 cards. The game is played with two players, Dealer and Player, who each start with an equal number of cards. The Dealer counts out 10 cards, placing them face down in the middle of the table.

The Player then flips over 4 cards from their hand, placing them face up in front of them. The remaining cards are placed face down in the dealer’s discard pile.

Each player then takes turns hitting or drawing until they have no further cards. If the Player drAWS a card that equals or exceeds the value of the card already in their hand, they can either hit or stand.

If the Dealer drAWS a card that equals or exceeds the value of the card already in their hand, they can either hit or stand. However, if the Dealer hits on any draw, then the Player must either hit or lose all their current holdings.

If at any time during a player’s turn they have two cards totaling 13 or more (a “blackjack”), then they automatically win the hand and receive all of their original bet back plus any additional winnings from subsequent hands.
