What Is Poker Pointing?

Poker Pointing is a technique used in Texas Hold’em and other poker variants to determine the best possible hand. In a nutshell, it is simply the act of signaling to your opponent what you believe to be your best hand.

When poker players point, they are not necessarily revealing their best hand. In fact, they may not even have a specific hand in mind.

Pointing can simply be an indication that you are confident in the strength of your current hand and would like to see what your opponent has. .

Some tips for poker point pointing:
– always point with two fingers (like you are making a gun with your hands) when making a straight or two-card draw;
– for a three-card straight, point with one finger;
– for a three-card flush, point with two fingers;
– for a four-card straight, point with one finger;
– for a four-card flush, point with two fingers;
– for a full house or flush, point with all four fingers;
– for an overpair (two pairs), point with just the index finger;
– for an underpair (one pair), point just the middle finger.
