Poker with 5 cards is also called Texas Hold’em. In this poker game, each player is dealt 5 cards, and then they are required to make a hand – either by combining the ranks of their cards, or by using one of the specific poker hands that are listed below.
Straight Flush: Five cards of the same rank, like 2s, 4s, 6s, 8s, and 10s.
Straight: Five cards of consecutive rank, like 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 6s.
Four Of A Kind: Four cards of the same rank, like 2s 2d 3s 4d.
Full House: Three cards of the same rank plus one card of another rank like 3h 4c 5d.
Flush: Five cards of any rank.
Two Pair: Two cards of the same rank plus two other cards that are not of the same rank like (2h) (3c) (4d).
One Pair: One card of the same rank as another card in someone’s hand like (2d) (3c) (4d).
