Scrum Poker Online is a variation of poker that is played with a deck of cards. The object of the game is to achieve the highest possible score by playing cards that are suited, ranked, and sequential. The basic rules of poker are followed, with the exception that two players are involved and each player must discard one card before additional cards are dealt. The player who discards the highest card wins the hand. In Scrum Poker Online, hands are divided into three phases: pre-flop, flop, and turn. During each phase, players can make either a push or a call.
A call is made when a player believes that he or she has the best hand, and a push is made when a player believes that he or she has the best possible hand given the current situation. When both players make calls, the first card is flipped over in the middle of the table. If it’s an Ace, then play moves to the next phase; if it’s anything else then all other players ante up (add one card to their current hand). If both players call with an Ace, then play moves to the next phase; if only one player calls with an Ace and no other cards are revealed then that player automatically wins the hand. If both players push with Aces, then there is a showdown where all other cards are revealed and whoever has the highest card wins the hand.
