The 21 3 rule in blackjack states that in order to win a hand of blackjack, the player must have a total of 21 points. In other words, if the player has 18 points, 2 points must be added to the player’s total for a total of 19 points.
If the player has 20 points, 4 points must be added to the player’s total for a total of 23 points. Finally, if the player has 21 points, 6 points must be added to the player’s total for a total of 29 points – thus winning the hand.
