What Is the American Roulette?

The American roulette is a variation of the European roulette that is played with a 36-number wheel. The American roulette wheel has an additional number, 00, which is used as the “zero” spot.

In addition, there are two additional spots for black and red numbers, which add an element of chance to the game.

Players bet on one of five numbers at the center of the wheel: 1-19. If their number is rolled and matches one of those chosen numbers, they receive their bet back plus any winnings from prior bets.

If their number is not one of the chosen numbers, they lose whatever bet they placed on that number and any winnings from prior bets.
