What Is the Game Russian Roulette?

Russian roulette is a casino game that is played with six rounds of ammunition, one in the chamber of the gun and five in the magazine. The player spins the cylinder to determine which round will be fired. If it is the bullet with the number that has been selected, then that round is loaded into the chamber and the player takes their shot. If it is not their number, then they reload and try again.

The game is often thought to be deadly because of its randomness – no one knows what their odds are of being the unlucky player to pull the trigger and get a bullet in their chamber. However, in reality, Russian roulette is only marginally more deadly than other casino games like blackjack or craps. The odds of being killed playing Russian roulette are about 1 in 36,000.
