What Is the Unbeatable Hand in Poker?

Poker is a game that, like other card games, has an array of possible hands. A hand is a set of five cards, with two face-up and three face-down.

Each player in turn plays one or more cards, hoping to make the best five card poker hand possible.

Some hands are better than others, but no hand is unbeatable. In fact, there are many hands that are reasonably good, but not great.

For example, if you have a pair of jacks and another player has a pair of sevens, you have a good hand but not a great one.

A great hand is one that has at least two high-value cards (two suits, such as two Jacks or two eights) and one low-value card (a single suit). A very good hand is one that has at least one high-value card and two low-value cards.

An excellent hand is one that has at least one high-value card and three low-value cards.

No hand is unbeatable in poker, but some hands are considerably better than others. If you want to improve your poker game, focus on improving your hands that are slightly better than average.
