When it comes to choosing the right type of RAM for your gaming PC, there are many factors to consider. For starters, what type of games do you plan on playing? If you’re a casual player who mostly plays browser and social games, then you can probably get by with less RAM.
However, if you’re a hardcore gamer who relies on high-performance software and games, then you’ll want to put more RAM in your system.
Once you’ve determined which type of RAM is right for you, the next question is where to put it. In general, most people recommend putting it in the system’s main memory (usually referred to as “DDR3”), but there are a few exceptions.
If your budget is tight, or if you’re concerned about heat and noise levels, you might want to consider putting it in the system’s graphics memory instead.
