Ada Blackjack and her team of explorers set out to find the lost city of Atlantis in the Caribbean Sea. However, they quickly found themselves in trouble when they arrived on the island. The team was attacked by a tribe of hostile natives, and Ada was seriously injured. She was forced to retreat back to the ship, where she was treated for her injuries.
The team eventually made it back to civilization, but their expedition was not a success. Ada and her team were unable to find Atlantis, and they were also unable to overcome the hostility of the natives. The problems that Ada and her team faced on the island suggest that they would not have been able to survive in the area for long.
