When Should You Never Hit in Blackjack?

Blackjack is a game of chance that can be played for money, with the aim of achieving a higher score than the dealer. One of the key rules of blackjack is that you cannot hit (take any number greater than 21) unless you have a card that is better than the dealer’s card.

There are occasions, however, when it is not advisable to hit in blackjack. If you are playing against someone who is very good at the game, they may be able to predict your every move and thus avoid hitting.

Likewise, if you are playing with a player who is particularly reckless or has poor judgement, hitting may not be in your best interests. In both cases, it may be wiser to stay away from hitting altogether and instead focus on other strategies for gaining an advantage over your opponents.
