Who Came Up With Russian Roulette?

The game of Russian roulette was invented in 1871 by a Frenchman, F.J. Arnaud, who wrote a book on the game. The game is played with six rounds of ammunition, each consisting of three bullets.

Each player spins the roulette wheel and takes turns firing a bullet at the other player, without knowing which bullet will hit. The object is to survive six rounds without being shot. If a player is shot, they are out of the game and the next player takes their place.
