Who Owns Wizard of Oz Slots?

In 1933, L. Frank Baum’s novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, was published.

The story follows Dorothy as she travels across the United States with her friends, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, in order to return to her home in Oz. Along the way, they encounter many strange and magical creatures.

The novel’s popularity led to a theatrical release in 1939, and an MGM film adaptation released in 1939. The MGM film was a commercial success and won several awards.

In 1955, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) produced a sequel to the MGM film, entitled The Wizard of Oz II: The Return of the Witch. This sequel was not as successful as the original film and did not receive a theatrical release.

Since 1955, there have been no additional Wizard of Oz films released. However, MGM has retained ownership of the rights to the novel and its films.

As a result, MGM is responsible for all future adaptations and sequels to the novel and its films. Currently, there are no plans for any new adaptations or sequels to be released by MGM.
