Is Blackjack Evolution Rigged?

In 1987, Lawrence Revere and Robert W. Ferguson published a study in the journal Statistical Science which showed that blackjack players in Vegas were losing an average of 2.

8% on each hand. The study’s conclusion? That blackjack was not a fair game, and that casinos were deliberately manipulating the odds to disadvantage players.

The findings of Revere and Ferguson have been replicated dozens of times, and it’s now widely accepted that blackjack is not a fair game – meaning that casinos are rigging the odds in their favor. In fact, a 2006 study by the University of Nevada found that average blackjack hands in Vegas were losing players an astounding 10.5% – almost 3 times as much as what Revere and Ferguson found!

So is blackjack evolution rigged? Absolutely – and casinos know it. They’re simply exploiting human psychology to make you lose money.

Don’t be fooled by the facade of a fair game – casinos are doing everything they can to screw you over.
