Does Blackjack Have an Ante?

Blackjack is a casino game that involves cards and a dealer. The object of the game is to score as many points as possible by making either the correct number of hands (called “hitting”) or by getting lucky and getting the dealer to bust (called “drawing”).

One of the key aspects of blackjack is the ante. When playing blackjack, players are generally given an ante (money) before the cards are dealt.

This ante determines how much money a player has to start with and also affects how much money they are given in hand at any given time.

Generally speaking, an ante of 1 or 2 dollars will give a player between 2 and 5 cards, while an ante of 5 or 10 dollars will give a player between 5 and 10 cards. This can make a big difference in how successful a player is at blackjack.
