How Did Russian Roulette Start?

Russian roulette, also called black jack, is a casino game in which a player makes a wager on the outcome of a single spin of the roulette wheel. The game is played with a single deck of 52 cards.

The player bets on any number from 1 to 36. If the number shown on the Roulette wheel is odd, the player loses their bet; if it is even, they win.

The game was invented by Charles E. Black in 1892 and became very popular in casinos around the world.

Russian roulette is sometimes called “the death game” because of its high chances of resulting in a fatal outcome. However, today the game is generally considered safer than other casino games because there are safeguards in place to prevent anyone from cheating.
