How Do I Enable RAM Slots in BIOS?

If you’re looking to add more memory to your computer, you’ll need to look into the BIOS (basic input/output system) settings. In most cases, you’ll need to open the BIOS and enable additional memory slots. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the BIOS by pressing the “F2” key during startup.

This will usually be located near the bottom of your computer’s keyboard.

2. Once in the BIOS, navigate to the “Advanced” tab and click on “Memory.”

3. On the next screen, you’ll see a list of memory slots.

If you want to add a new slot, select it from the list and click on the “Enable” button.

4. Once enabled, you’ll need to configure your new memory slot’s settings in your operating system’s memory manager.

You can find more information on how to do this on our website or in specific operating systems such as Windows 7 or 8.1.
