How Do You Connect v Slots?

In order to connect the slots in a vSphere environment, you will need to use the vSphere Client. To connect to a vCenter Server, you will need the vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA) or a virtual machine running the VCSA.

If you are connecting to a remote vCenter Server, you will also need the URL for the remote server.

Once you have connected to your vCenter Server, you can use the vSphere Client to connect to your ESXi hosts and clusters. You can also use the vSphere Client to connect to your virtual machines and objects.

To connect a virtual machine to a slot in a cluster, you first need to create a network object for the slot. You can do this by clicking on the + sign next to Networking in the inventory pane of the vSphere Client.

You will then be prompted to create a new network object or select an existing network object.

After you have created the network object, you can select it in the inventory pane and click on Connect Selected. The Connect button will become active and you can enter the credentials for your ESXi host or cluster.

Once you have connected your virtual machine to the slot, you can use the software interface of your virtual machine or Platform Services Controller (PSC) to configure your virtual machine’s networking.
