How Do You Count Numbers in Blackjack?

In blackjack, the goal is to get as close to 21 as possible. To accomplish this, you need to know how to count cards.

There are two ways to count cards in blackjack: face-up and face-down.

Face-up counting is the traditional way to count cards in blackjack. This method is used when all the cards are visible and in front of the player.

When counting with face-up cards, you start by counting the Ace of Spades as 1, 2, 3, etc. After you have counted the Ace of Spades, you place the other face-up cards in numerical order starting with 2nd card (2), 3rd card (3), 4th card (4), etc. .

Face-down counting is a more recent method that is used when some or all of the cards are hidden from view. When counting with face-down cards, you start by placing all the face-down cards in numerical order starting with 1st card (1).

After you have placed all the face-down cards in numerical order, you turn over one card at a time and add it to the number on top of the stack. For example, if you have a 5 and a 2 face-down, after turning over the 2 card and adding it to the number on top of the stack (5), you would now have a 3 on top of your stack.
