How Do You Deal Poker Cards?

How to Deal Poker Cards

If you are a beginner, the first thing you should do is practice with a deck of cards. This will help you become familiar with the different faces and how to hold them.

Once you have mastered the basics, it is time to learn how to deal poker cards. There are three basic ways to deal cards: face down, face up, and draw poker.

To deal face down, place the pack face down on the table and start dealing clockwise. When you get to the player to your left, turn over the top card of the deck and place it on top of the pack. Then continue dealing clockwise. When you get to the player to your right, turn over the last card and put it on top of the pack.

You have now completed one round of the hand. Continue dealing until all players have had a chance to look at their hands.

To deal face up, first place the pack face up on the table so everyone can see its contents. Deal one card at a time from left to right, turning over each card as you go. The player who receives the card with the highest value (face up) begins playing immediately. The player who receives the card with the Lowest value (face down) must wait until all other players have had a chance to play before taking their turn.

If two or more players have equal values, then that player drAWS one more card before starting their turn. If there is still no clear winner after all players have played, then play passes clockwise around the table until someone gets a higher ranking card than all other players combined (i.e., Ace ≥ 2).

To deal draw poker, first place two cards face down on either side of the deck so everyone can see both of them. The player who drAWS first begins playing immediately without having any idea what their hand might be worth.

The other players each draw one additional card and then play as usual. If two or more players still have equal values after drawing additional cards, then they flip over their two hidden cards and play as normal – whoever has higher ranking card (Ace ≥ 2) wins that hand and takes all of their opponent’s remaining chips!.
