How Do You Manipulate Poker Chips?

Poker chips come in a variety of colors, shapes, and denominations. Players can use poker chips to track the number of hands they’ve played, the amount of money they’ve won or lost, and other characteristics of their poker play.

One common way to manipulate poker chips is to intentionally lose hands. For example, a player might deliberately fold early in order to decrease the number of hands that they must play in order to earn additional chips.

This type of manipulation can be done with any denomination of poker chip, but is most commonly used with small denomination chips (ones and twos). Losing large denomination chips (threes and fours) is less common because it is more difficult to hide the fact that you are losing them.

Players can also manipulate poker chips by cheating. Cheating can involve any action that gives an advantage to the player, such as moving cards during a hand, peeking at other players’ hands, or talking during a hand.

Cheating is most commonly done with face cards (Jacks, Queens, Kings), which have special abilities that can be used to gain an advantage over other players.
