How Do You Play Optimal Game Theory Poker?

There are a few general rules of thumb to follow when playing optimal game theory poker. First and foremost, always think ahead. What cards do I need to hold in order to win the hand? What are my opponents’ likely hands? Second, never throw away a good hand. Even if you don’t have the best hand, you can often make it work by playing tight and not giving your opponents too much information.

And finally, always be aware of what the other players are doing. If you see one of your opponents making a large bet, chances are they have a strong hand. If they’re betting small, they probably don’t have anything worth betting on.
