There are 21 blackjack hands in a deck. A hand contains five cards, and the face of each card is shown to the player.
The hand is placed face down in front of the player, and the player can then look at their own hand and see what cards they are holding.
The dealer can either draw cards or leave them as they are. Once the dealer has drawn cards, they offer them to the player one at a time.
If the player accepts a card from the dealer, then that card is added to the player’s hand. If the player declines a card from the dealer, then that card is placed on top of the deck off to one side.
Once all of the cards have been offered and accepted, the hand is turned over so that everyone can see what cards they are holding. The player with the highest rank of card in their hand (Ace through Two) wins that particular hand of blackjack.
