How Many Divisions Are There in a Roulette Wheel?

There are 36 slots in a standard roulette wheel. Each slot has nine numbered positions, from 1 to 36. The numbers on the wheel are called “pits.” The numbers on either side of the number “36” (i.e.

25 and 19) are called “counters.” When you place a bet on a roulette game, you are betting on one of the numbers in one of the nine positions on the wheel. .

In European roulette, there are also zero (“0”) and double zero (“00”) slots. In American roulette, there are also slots for “courts” (8, 13, 18, 23, 26, 29, 32).

These additional slots were created because American players like to bet on odd numbers.
