Is Ace to 5 a Straight in Poker?

There is no definitive answer to this question as it largely depends on the individual’s definition of “straight.” For some players, a straight is five consecutive cards of the same suit.

For others, a straight may be any five cards in a row of the same suit. Ultimately, it is up to the individual player to determine whether Ace to 5 is a straight or not.

One thing that is clear, however, is that Ace to 5 is not a strong hand in poker. In most cases, it will not pay off well to try and win with this hand, and it is more likely that one will lose money by playing it.

Therefore, it is generally not recommended that anyone play Ace to 5 at any stage in a poker game.
