Is Full Tilt Poker Rigged?

Full Tilt Poker has been in business since 2006 and is one of the most popular online poker rooms. The company has been the Target of investigations by the U.

S. Department of Justice and various state attorneys general, but to date there have been no conclusive findings that Full Tilt is rigged.

However, there is significant evidence that Full Tilt Poker may be a Mirage Poker scheme, in which players are artificially induced to make large wagers in order to increase the house edge and generate profits for the Mirage operators. In January 2013, an analysis of Full Tilt Poker data by researchers at Carnegie Mellon University found that players who lost the most money were more likely to have made high-stakes wagers over a period of several weeks.

The study also found that players who won the most money were less likely to have made high-stakes wagers.

The evidence suggests that Mirage Poker schemes are common in online poker, and Full Tilt may be part of a larger problem. If this is true, then it would be wrong for Full Tilt to claim that it is not rigged and that its users are not being cheated.
