Is Online Video Poker Rigged?

There is no one definitive answer to this question as it largely depends on how one defines “rigged.” Generally, people who believe that online video poker is rigged believe that the house advantage is too high, and that this advantage allows the casino to unfairly win money from players.

However, there is no evidence that online video poker is rigged in a systematic way. Rather, it appears that individual casinos may have some questionable practices, but as a whole, online video poker is not rigged in a way that benefits the casino more than the player.

In general, it is important to remember that online video poker is a game of chance. As such, any advantage that a casino might have over a player (such as a high house advantage) is simply a reflection of the odds of the game. If players were able to consistently win at online video poker by using specific strategies or playing at particular casinos, then these strategies or casinos would soon be exposed and replaced by others.

However, this does not appear to be the case – instead, players who are successful at online video poker appear to be those who are able to adapt their strategy to the various games available and make good choices about which casinos to play at. In short, while there may be some individual casinos that have more questionable practices than others, overall online video poker appears to be fair and playable by most people.
